Happy Chinese New Year!

It's the first day of Chinese New Year and I'm having my first class as a university student. This would be the first time in my life where I wouldn't be celebrating my Chinese New Year with my family. There's first time in everything right?

I got to meet my classmates for the first time and to my surprise, there's only 4 of us. Only 4 people in the whole course to be exact. Sad? Hopefully not. Since it's the first day of class, it's more towards the introduction part so nothing much actually.

Came back to the flat in the evening. And made myself a fish and chips.

Wishing everyone Happy Chinese New Year and

Gong Xi Fatt Chai!!

Reunion Dinner

This would be the first time in my life where I'm going to have a Reunion Dinner by myself. Not really that sad though cos kinda busy settling down here so I didn't really feel lonely. Besides, my flat mates are cool and friendly. A German dude and 2 locals Brits.

Anyway since it's 'Reunion Day', I thought of cooking something special for myself; to reward myself for not having any problems adapting myself into the new enviroment and for, of course, Chinese New Year.

Therefore, my masterpiece for today's dinner is:

Barbeque chicken with baked beans and spaghetti.

The black thingy covering the chicken is actually barbeque sauce with some onions and mushrooms. Well, it got a bit burned but not really that serious though as it is still edible. But hey, it is still satisfying. Smells good and tastes fastastic.

Awesome!

I think that's all for today.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Finally, A Proper Food

After 2 days of feeding myself with bread and burgers, I finally had a proper meal.

Went shopping in Morrisons and bought all the groceries that I needed. Morrisons is kinda like Giant back home in Malaysia so practically most of the things are quite cheap compare to the other supermarkets such as Tesco or Asda. Not only that, even the colour and the logo of the supermarket are almost the same. o.O

See, they do look alike huh?

Anyway, I finally could cook some proper meal for myself.

And my first ever proper meal in Leeds?

Fried Rice with broccoli and fillet sticks.

p/s: There's actually one more post before this. But due to techinical problems, I'll only be able to post them up later. Kindly wait for further instruction on when it will be posted up. Sorry for the inconvinient caused. You can now proceed to further readings.

My next step.

It's here.

The time has finally arrive and I'm going to another phase of my life. Whether I like it or not; whether I want it or not; whether I yearn it or not.

It's a natural process for us, as a human beings, to go through different transition in life. It's the only way for us to grow and mature into a person where we able to self regulate, able to rational, able to rely on and finally having a breadth of mind, or in other words, for us to mature into an adult.

I'm not against the transition that I'm currently experiencing but I just feel that the pace of it is rather fast.

Faster than Ursain Bolt.

Quicker than The Flash.

To be honest, I'm amased by the pace of my life. From high school to college then to Penang, back to college, graduate, then to ZEN, and now in Leeds. I did not even have sufficient time to catch my breath and there I'm, going through another chapter of my life.

How I wish I could make the time stop and let me fully enjoy my college life before making my next step. Wish is all I have.

I might be quite naive in this issue but I definitely feel that it's how other people around my age will generally feel. Time is moving whether we are prepared or not.

I would also like to take this opportnity to wish all my friends good luck and all the best in everything that you do, whether you are furthering your studies or working.

Cheers~

p/s: Gonna miss everyone back in Malaysia!

There goes 2008 and here comes 2009

Well, here it is. 2009 is finally here.

2008 was rather an eventful year one for me. Having gone to Penang for my internship, then studying for my final semester, graduated and finally working for the last 4 months. It all finally came to an end with a blink of an eye.

Fast.

Or rather, very fast.

A new year is finally here and I will take everything spontaneously like I always do.

No new year resolutions . Just hope that everything will be smooth in everything that I done.

Cheers everyone.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
